He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you except to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion), and to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]?

Micah 6:8

Have you noticed that God doesn’t ask that much of you? He never forces Himself upon you, and He doesn’t get in the way of the choices you make. We were given a free will to do as we choose every moment of each day.

Does God desire a relationship with you? Does He want you to choose to spend quality time with Him? YES. Of course He does. But, He wants you to choose Him. Choose Him over that TV program. Choose Him over scrolling through social media posts. And, choose Him instead of playing games on your phone.

God doesn’t ask for a lot, just “all of you” to desire quality time with Him. When we choose God, He will be able to help in numerous ways. He will give us strength and the rest we need. He will direct our decisions, give us boldness and confidence that we need to step into His plan for us.

Be spirit-minded and allow God to show you glimpses of what He sees.
