When you stand before the Lord, are you going to be happy that you’re there? Or are you one that hears what I think are the most frightening words in the Bible?

Let’s look at those. To me, these are the scariest words in the Bible.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 7:22-23

That doesn’t mean sinning morning, noon, and night. That means rejecting. Rejecting what Jesus has given. Rejecting the invitation that you have to come before the Lord anytime, morning, noon, or night, for anything, big or small. That’s exactly what that means. So if you need His wisdom, If you need His intervention, you definitely need to be seeking Him.

My message to you is that from this day forward, every day, every day, you need to be spending some time in your Bible and talking to God. In that, ask Him the questions that are on your heart. Whatever those questions are, big questions, little questions. You need to ask questions about your kids, about your business.

Do you need to ask questions about direction? Do you need to ask questions about your health? Whatever it is, You’re going to find your answer reading His Word and talking to Him. That’s the way this deal comes down. I think this is the greatest thing, the number one thing that believers need to incorporate in their lives to live the abundant life Jesus promised.

To have the abundant life, we need to hang out with Jesus. Let him always have a say, the first say. Not just tag him on at the end.
