God wants to speak to you regularly. He is speaking. The fact that you’re not hearing is that you’re not listening.
There is no reason for any of us to make wrong decisions in life. Now, all of us have and probably many times, I have, you have, but that’s not God’s plan. He has given us a way to walk a better walk. That walk is to be in tune to the spirit man and listen to yourself. Listen to your spirit when decisions need to be made and all the trash is flying.
There’s always trash. Did you notice there’s always trash? The enemy’s really good at throwing trash. Your soul is pretty good at stirring up some trash by itself, you don’t even need the devil sometimes. He gets blamed for a lot of things he never even did.
that the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord and it searches all the inward parts of the belly.
Proverbs 20:27
The spirit of the man is the light or the light bulb. We don’t use candles so much today. It’s what illuminates everything that God has for us. That spirit, our spirit is where that light is, it is not in our brain. That spirit is not in our soul. It’s in our inner being.
If we’re not able to connect with the spirit and to understand and work with that, we’re going to be stuck. One of the really important things that we need to do, is to be able to listen to the Holy Spirit and to ask Him to talk to us.
We need to stop and ask the Holy Spirit.
