So how do we seek God? I guess that’s the next natural question. How do we seek Him? It’s very simple. The rules have been the same forever, and they’re not changing now. Seek Him by reading your Bible and talking to Him.
You read your Bible and you talk to Him.
This doesn’t mean getting real mouthy and wordy. You just say, hey, I just read this and I don’t understand a word You said. I have to say that all the time. And then just sit back and let Him minister to you. Let the Holy Spirit speak so that He can start directing your path.
If you need a direction. If you need something today that absolutely has an expiration date on it, you’re not going to find it any other way outside of seeking God. You can be on Google all night long. You can just look up everything about this particular situation. You can call all your friends. You can get all the counsel that you can think of. And you can be ten more miles down a bad road tomorrow.
Today is the day to seek the Lord. Open your Bible!
