What’s going to give us wholeness and joy? What’s going to cause us to prosper and to be free? The name of Jesus. Jesus said He gave us peace.
In Galatians chapter 5 verse 22 and 23 it reads this way. But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, what? Peace. Peace. Long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith. Meekness, temperance against such, there is no law. The fruit, there’s one, listen, there’s one fruit of the Spirit.
The One Fruit
That fruit has many manifestations. The one fruit, let’s go back to verse 22. The one fruit is love. But the fruit of the Spirit is love. And love gives us manifestations. When, we’re walking in love, we’re walking in joy. When we’re walking in love, we’re walking in peace.
In Colossians it says above all things put on charity. Charity is another word for Love. Once we began to move in the love that God has for us, and we began to express that love, not only in our relationship to Him, but in our relationships with others, then these other manifestations, which include peace, are available automatically for us to walk in.
Peace is Already in You
Peace is already in you. As a born again believer in Jesus Christ, you are already packed with peace. You’re already cocked and loaded. When you need peace, it’s there to the ready. All you have to do is access it.
Well, how do you access it? You ask for it. Thank you, Father, that Your peace is mine and I receive it. And you need to do that real quick. Because when the enemy comes, and he’s swirling, and he’s throwing everything at you, and he’s trying everything he can to drown you in fear, confusion, or torment of whatever, Really quick, Oh, Lord, I thank you I have your peace, and Lord, I thank you it manifests for me now. I thank you that that peace rises up. I thank you that it gives me the answer I need, and it’s the right answer, it’s the final answer.
