I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!”
Psalm 91:2
There are many things that we place our trust in each and every day. We trust in the food we bought that’s in our refrigerator, we trust in the chair that we sit on, among others that we don’t even think about. We also trust in ourselves and our intellect. However, some things will need our faith added to that trust when it gets beyond what we can handle on our own.
Some things happen because the enemy wants to get in between you and Christ. The enemy wants to disrupt you, interfere and cause you to get distracted and off course. Know this about him. Know his schemes and that it will happen. Prepare yourself because Christ has set you apart for a purpose and if the enemy can get you to doubt and question your purpose, then he will move in more closely and try to put a wedge between you and Christ.
When the enemy comes lurking, STOP everything and go directly to Christ, He will set your course and guide you. Christ will be your refuge and your fortress. Trust in Him and He will walk side by side with your and see you through.
