“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Matthew 6:34

We are not meant to control every situation that comes our way. Nor are we meant to control others. We may be looking at our circumstances and expecting others to do their part. However, we need to do our part and only be concerned with ourselves. Jesus asks us to come to Him, and that is what we must do. We must allow Him to work in others without our interference.

If we try to take control, we may miss “the something” that He was going to do for us. And, it will hinder what He needs to do in the lives of others. Remember that Jesus knows what’s going on, and He has it all worked out in the manner that is essential and best. Our job is to TRUST Him to handle every piece of the puzzle and detail in a manner that will allow us to see His goodness manifest in ways we could never have imagined.

So, we need to take rest and put our mind at ease, laying everything all in Jesus’ more than capable hands. Do not be anxious today, tomorrow, or the road ahead, just take one step at a time with Jesus, knowing He has us in His Hands.
