Behold, here is what I have seen to be good and fitting; to eat and drink, and to find enjoyment in all the labor, in which he labors under the sun during the few days of his life which God gives him—for this is his [allotted] reward.
Ecclesiastes 5:18
Far too often we work ourselves really hard day in and day out, yet we don’t have the joy that Jesus has promised us. We need to stop thinking about down the road and just be mindful of today. This day that He has given us. Don’t fill yourself with “what ifs.” Just give Jesus today and step one moment at a time. Life will be much easier when looking at it in this manner.
Know that your labors are not in vain, no matter what you see around you. Jesus is opening up a door for you to step into. Do not be concerned about the changes, remember that He has your back, and He goes before you. We must work hard as the fields before us are ripe for the harvest, and we must not worry because they have been prepared ahead of time.
When we know that we are working diligently for Jesus and we can see the fruit of our hands and the difference we are making, it makes everything worthwhile. Almost as though it’s not work because we can see Jesus’ direct hand and the joy and happiness it brings others. It’s time for us to see who He has created us to be. To fulfill that ultimate purpose that we were created for. Jesus’ joy is upon us waiting for us to get to this place. You are almost here… keep stepping forward.
