In the same way the Spirit [comes to us and] helps us in our weakness. We do not know what prayer to offer or how to offer it as we should, but the Spirit Himself [knows our need and at the right time] intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groanings too deep for words.
Romans 8:26
There are times we don’t know what to pray, but Jesus does. He knows His Plans for our life and He knows the depths of who we are. He just wants us to come to Him. This is a necessary requirement. We don’t have a relationship without communication. We must make the effort and take the time, and it shouldn’t be a chore, but a joy. Jesus is right there, the moment we start speaking with Him. A split second is all it takes when you call upon His Name… Just say Jesus, and He is there.
Jesus has never left us alone, but we need to refresh our heart and minds to His Presence. Just sit awhile with Him allowing His comfort to overwhelm you. There is no difficulty or circumstance too great for Him. When we are weak, this is when we easily allow Him to help, but Jesus wants more… He wants us to allow His strength to show. He is with us all the time, but too often we do things in our own strength and power instead of inviting Him in.
We are much stronger when we remember who we are in Jesus. We must remember who He says we are and call upon His Name allowing His Spirit to resonate through us. The Holy Spirit will will intercede on our behalf with sighs and groanings too deep for words and He knows exactly what is needed to be said.
