…His [tender] compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion and my inheritance,” says my soul; “Therefore I have hop in Him and wait expectantly for Him.”
Lamentations 3:22b-24
Father God knows your needs, what’s concerning you and what’s occupying your mind and thoughts. Another day is upon you and you can’t see how your circumstances can change. You don’t see everything that is moving into place, the threads that are being intricately woven together.
God’s love for you is beyond measure, and He is right there with you. Waiting on God is difficult when you feel you should be doing something to help Him. Be assured that God is quite capable of managing your issue without any interference or help from you.
Sometimes the hardest and most “active” thing you can do is wait upon God.
I know it’s hard to sit back and wait, feeling as though you’re doing nothing, but there is much that can be done. Dive deeper into the depths of God’s Word. A lot can be learned in the waiting. It’s where your trust and faith grows.
When you are anxious… worship Him. Be purposeful in you choices and actions. God’s Word is true and trustworthy, and His faithfulness is beyond measure. So hope in Christ and wait expectantly on Him. He loves you more than enough to work through your situation with you. Trust in Him and believe, being spirit-minded.
