It is undeniable that God loves us, but we cannot truly know God’s love for us if we do not believe in His Son, Jesus Christ. I don’t mean having mere intellectual assent that Jesus exists, but truly believing that He is the gift of love given to us by the Father and accepting that gift. Agreement with what the Word of God says about who Jesus is and why He came to earth, trusting that Jesus is who Scripture says He is opens us up to experience and enjoy the love so freely given by the Father. Jesus came that we might have eternal life, and the benefits of that life can begin today. Accept the Love.
