But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 for he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
James 1:22-25
If you want to see supernatural results in your life, you’ll have to do more than simply read your Bible. You’ll have to put it into action.
God alone is the One who can supply all our need. We need to believe that and commit to do everything His tells us to do. It’s important that we make a quality decision to step out in faith on every command we see in the Scriptures.
Although doing that is rarely easy, I can assure that simply yielding your freewill to God and agreeing to do whatever He asks of you will always produce blessing in your life. In my humble opinion, that’s a great motivator.
