Two are better than one because they have a more satisfying return for their labor; for if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and does not have another to lift him up.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
The weight and burdens that we take on are not meant for us… especially for us individually. We need others. Others to show us that we are cared for, others to encourage us and others to remind us that Christ is also here for us. God never intended for us to bear the weight, that’s why Jesus came to the earth.
Sometimes our situations change and then we can see Christ more clearly. Did we get too comfortable and start thinking that maybe this was all that God has meant for us? We need to seek Him and dive deeper. We cannot settle for good when God desires the best for us. When things keep piling on, and more and more “garbage” comes our way, that is NOT the time to stop pressing, it is not the time to throw in the towel and give up.
See the enemy for who and what he is. He comes to steal, kill and destroy. He is throwing everything he can at us so that we don’t step into what Christ has planned for us. We need to keep moving forward and remember that we are not in this alone.
