So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you.
James 4:7
The enemy enters shrewdly into your personal world. It can be a simple comment from someone that throws you off. It can be a thought that you’re not good enough. And, it can be much stronger… a person who enters your life that causes you to get off track with who Christ has called you to be.
No one is immune to the enemy’s evil. It’s why you must be on guard at all times. Review and reflect. Come to Christ and remember who you are. It’s your mind and thoughts that can take you places that Christ never intended for you to go. Don’t dwell on mistakes, recognize them and move forward. Christ ALWAYS forgives, if you ask. You are loved, and you are enough. No matter what, Christ can and accomplish everything that He has intended through you. Come back and draw upon His strength and believe in yourself as Christ believes in you. Submit to God and resist the devil and he will flee from you.
