Learning how to be led by the Holy Ghost is foundational to our growth in the things of the Spirit. It is the key building block of our spiritual life. If we fail to lay a good spiritual foundation in our lives, we will ultimately fail in this life. I think Charles Capps said it best when he said, “Spiritually speaking, there are many Christians who have tried to build a second story on an empty lot and have completely failed, believing all the while that they were doing everything right.” Developing a strong human spirit means making a relationship with the Holy Spirit a priority in our lives.
