The Light shines on in the darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it [and is unreceptive to it].

John 1:5

The world is dark, very dark in these troubling times. It can appear as though there is not light shining with all that you read and see. A lot have blinders on, they have had them on for quite some time, but only now can you see them for who they really are. Be careful.

You must be reminded of who Jesus says you are. And do not succumb to the threats of this world. The light has not gone out, there is always a glimmer as Jesus is light. You must not fear, but let your light shine in the midst of this present darkness. Stand strong and firm, do not waiver when the winds of the world want to taunt you and ridicule you. Remember that Jesus is with you wherever you go.

The armor that has been given to us is extremely significant in these days. We must not forget our training. Today you may be the only light that some see. So make sure you let it shine brightly so that they see Jesus through you. They may not understand the light, but all that’s needed is a little seed to be planted for the next light that crosses their path.

Each beacon of hope will start to illuminate and grow the light in the darkness.
