The Bible has a fixed principle. We can have what we say. It’s been years ago, the Lord spoke to me and He said to me, this is not verbatim. I was looking for it to give it to you verbatim, but I couldn’t find it. He said something along these lines. He says, Linda, every word you speak will be performed.

The question is by whom?

By Whom. Words of life, words of blessing, words of hope, words of peace are all performed by the Lord. Everything else is performed by somebody else. Words produce. They produce our today and they produce our future. We can talk all day long, the trash of the world, and we’re gonna get more trash, or we can talk the life of God even when we don’t see it.

That’s what faith is all about. Faith is made up of invisible things. Faith is made up of things you can’t see, touch, feel, and have no ability to have any relational relationship with. And yet if we will speak those things, they will manifest. So it says here, I have believed and then I have spoken. I love that household of faith, that language.

So everything we say either builds up or tears down. So when you open your mouth and you say, blah, blah, blah, do we build up or tear down?
