Let the peach of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always].
Colossians 3:15
Why do we not step into that which God has called us? We know what has been asked of us, yet we don’t take the time necessary to accomplish what has been asked. Things are supposed to be different and we want God to step in. We get stuck and become unable to move forward. Remember, there is no fear in perfect love. God loves us perfectly and we know this, so why do we still hesitate? So, we need to stop standing still and somehow expect things to change.
We need to step out into faith and allow God to show us where He is taking us. We will not feel settled and we won’t feel God’s peace until we are walking where He has asked us to walk. Know what God has asked, and now we must ensure we give Him time each day so we can work on moving forward. Don’t allow the busyness of this world to interfere and consume us. Time well spent working on Kingdom projects will rejuvenate us and God’s peace will change us from the inside out. And this will have an everlasting effect on our perspective and our circumstances. To this PEACE indeed we were called.
