Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom, and out of that came healing of all manner of sickness and all manner of diseases. You’re familiar with the verse that He made so profound. Seek first. Seek first. What? Seek first.
Do you know there’s only one first?
We’re seeking hundreds of other things. Sometimes we’re looking for what He has rather than for who He is, and we’re missing the hit parade. We’re missing the big show. We need to be seeing as He sees. And what He sees is a family that will come together, will love and care for one another, be filled with life, and hope and promise, and be able to show the goodness of God here in the earth.
That’s your job description. I say all the time that what we should say when people ask us what we do, “well, I’m a giver of life.”
