I must first see in my heart, and then speak out of my mouth. You need to do the exact same thing.
All mankind has an image of himself, and what we see is what we become. If you see yourself defeated, lonely, broke, sorry, sick and sad, that’s exactly what you will become.
As believers we can take the Word of God and begin to meditate on what He says we are and what He says we have and we can form new pictures.
We can use our imagination, our godly imagination, to form these heart pictures. Hope is a heart picture. You need a heart picture for the thing that you’re asking God for. You need to see yourself strong, capable, and prepared. Why not see yourself wealthy?
There’s a term in the sports world that really applies here. In sports language, they say victory is not won in the competition. Victory is won in the preparation.
It’s the same with us. The victory isn’t won when you’re standing face to face and toe to toe with what you want. The victory is won when you’ve laid the blueprint. You’ve had the heart picture so defined in your heart, and you’ve spoken out of your mouth what it is that you want, or what you believe God wants you to have, and then the reality comes.
Then the reality comes. So, take the limits off of God, we have to meditate on what He says until we can see ourselves living in what He promised. It’s time!
