but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.
2 Corinthians 12:9
You are loved, you are beautiful and you are gifted. Remember this especially when the world wants to get you down. You were created with purpose for something bigger than yourself. You may wonder why, but Jesus knows who you are. He knows every part of who you are, even the parts that you don’t want to admit or show anyone, and the parts that you are unaware of.
You may think yourself as insignificant, but be assured that you are more, much more. Jesus wants you to come closer to Him so that He can show you and teach you. His word is truth and every part of it has power when you put your faith and trust in what is written. When you believe what you have read, the words you speak have power and authority. Jesus acts on what you speak from His Word.
You have been given authority as a child of the Most High God. Although you may not feel capable, it is in this place where Jesus shines through you. When you are weak, this is when Jesus is strong. It is when you come to the realization that it is not “you” after all, but Jesus working through you. When you come to this place, you know you need Jesus every moment of every day. AND, He is here.
