Whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus [and in dependence on Him], giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Colossians 3:17
Remaining and abiding in Jesus is essential in the day to day activities that we take part in. It can be a struggle to keep focused on Him with the way our day can flow. So try this. Plan to schedule prayer breaks or moments so that you can refocus and give Jesus time to speak without any distractions. If you plan for this and keep these “dates” then they will become more a part of who you are. They will become second nature and you won’t even realize the schedule anymore, because you’ll just be chatting with Me many more moments of your day.
When you remain in Jesus, then the choices you make are spirit-led choices. This allows Jesus to give insights and ideas that are meant to help you and your work. This will help us to continue to grow and increase, both us and our employer. All will know that it is Jesus who has enabled you and given you your abilities. When you are this close to Jesus, your pride doesn’t get in the way because you know where these things have come from. You will gladly give Jesus the glory and through this… others will see Him.
