And this I pray, that your love may abound more and more [displaying itself in greater depth] in real knowledge and in practical insight, so that you may learn to recognize and treasure what is excellent [identifying the best, and distinguishing moral differences], and that you may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ [actually living lives that lead others away from sin];
Philippians 1:9-10
Jesus wants your eyes opened so that you can see more clearly. He wants you to see as He sees. Man sees on the straight plain, while Jesus sees on all levels. Don’t look so far ahead that you miss today… that you miss the “thing” that Jesus has placed right in front of you today. Each day brings something.
How long will it take before you see and recognize this? We must be spirit-minded more and open our eyes to see Jesus. We must see the heart of someone hurting, feel their pain and understand Jesus. It’s time to prepare ourselves to be His Voice, His Hands and His Feet. Those we come across will not know Jesus unless we choose to lay Him our before them. This is the love that I have freely given.
Do not think that you are incapable, just make yourself a ready and usable vessel. Allow Jesus to do the work that He has been preparing us for. Don’t second guess who Jesus has created you to be, and all that He has instilled within you. Allow Jesus’ love to work through you so that others will see and know Him.
