“Listen closely, I have set before you today life and prosperity (good), and death and adversity (evil); in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk [that is, to live each and every day] in His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments (precepts), so that you will live and multiply, and that the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you are entering to possess.
Deuteronomy 30:15-16
This current world is a fallen world that the enemy has taken possession of for a time. There are so many that don’t know Jesus and many that just want no part of Him. But, He still loves them. They need to see Jesus and that will only happen through us. We cannot allow fear to engulf us, but we must stand strong and firm on the foundation that Jesus has laid for us.
Don’t give in to the taunts, but speak that which Jesus has placed on our heart. Some will mock us, others will criticize, still others may seek to harm us, but we must be bold for Jesus’ sake, knowing that He is with us. Because there are still others who will receive Jesus’ message through us, and others who weren’t ready today, but will recall our words at a later time when they are ready. We must love Jesus more than this world and live each day in Him… AND, He will bless us.
