For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

Every aspect of our spiritual lives depends on faith in the Word of God!
If you are not living by faith, the power of God that is readily available to change you and your circumstances is totally neutralized in your life. Nothing spiritual manifests for us until we ingest the Word of God and mix it with faith. That was proven in Jesus’ ministry. He went to Nazareth and preached to the people but “He could there do no mighty work…because of their unbelief” (Mark 6:5-6). Think about that. The presence of the Healer was right there with them, but no one was healed. They had the Deliverer right there, but no one was delivered. He is with you. Are you enjoying the benefits of that?
