The enemy doesn’t make an announcement that he’s coming, he is very subtle and cunning. He starts with a thought and a desire and allows you to fill in the blanks. Before long your attitude and heart have gone in a direction you yourself never even intended. Your eyes are a gateway and you need to be mindful of what you allow them to see. They can open the door to your mind, allowing misguided thoughts to take over and consume you.
Child of God, you must be mindful of the games the enemy plays. When you allow this to go on, it changes your attitude and heart toward others. You fall prey to the downward spiral, and you may not even know or remember how it all began. Quiet yourself and listen carefully. Hear Jesus’ Voice and He will direct you. Don’t argue with Him and second guess how you should feel, or that you’re entitled to these feelings if you want.
Rebuke the enemy and stand strong, realizing that you may be in the wrong. Go at once and make things right again. This will help you to get back on track and to feel better as well. Renew a right spirit in yourself and He will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender responsive heart.
