In my distress I called upon the Lord; I cried out to my God, and from His temple [in the heavens] He heard my voice; My cry for help came into His ears.

2 Samuel 22:7

Jesus knows our voice, and He can tell us apart from others, just like we know our own children’s voice. He can tell and understand the cry out in hurt, and He can tell when it’s distress or frustration. Jesus knows us at levels that we don’t even know ourselves. He knows how He created us and what we are capable of, and He knows our heart. He is here right now, He has not gone away or deserted us. Every moment of every day He is here with us, just waiting for us to come to Him.

Even though there may not be anything visible going on in the natural, does not mean that there is nothing happening. On the contrary, much is happening in the “waiting.” Life is a big picture. You can see it as a puzzle, or you can see it as a tapestry with many different threads. Different threads and different colors, each a part of the whole, fulfilling its small, seemingly, non-distinct part. However, when you stand back and look at the tapestry you see something completely different. You see things put together to form an image. One piece is necessary to make the whole, without it, it would not be or look like it should.

Don’t think yourself as insignificant. Each and every one is needed in order for the tapestry to turn out looking the way it was designed. Know this… Jesus hears every word spoken and those that are just a whisper and an utterance in your despair. He hears you and is holding you close.
