so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—

Ephesians 3:17a

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith.

Christ is in our hearts, and He’s in our being. He’s in our spirit, and He is with us. It is by faith that we access and believe. Faith is believing, but faith is not just believing something. Faith is receiving. We by faith, can activate that power and that Presence that is already within us.

I know that God is looking all over the earth. He’s just looking for someone to stand in the gap so the nation of Israel would not be destroyed. And in that particular passage in Ezekiel, He couldn’t find anyone, so the nation was destroyed.

But God is looking for those of us who will grab hold of this truth and begin to live it. Not just think about it, not just maybe talk about it over a cup of coffee but begin to live it. I call them opportunities to overcome.

You and I face these opportunities, and instead of immediately looking to the natural, which is what we normally do, we need to instead discipline ourselves to begin to immediately say, okay, all right, I know You’re here and I know You have an answer. I know You’re right with me. I know You’re not going to leave me. I know You have an answer.

Make that number one. Make it the default button in your life. I know God You have an answer.
