Just as we wish more for our children, wishing and praying for them to have a deeper relationship with Christ, or even to starting showing up in His House to worship… so it is with Christ regarding us. He wants to see us diving deeper, believing Him at His Word and realizing that we do hear Him and that His Voice isn’t this thing that is hidden from us. He speaks to us in so many ways but we don’t always recognize that it’s Him.
We want the extraordinary when He is just the whisper that is with us every moment of each and every day. He is that nudge that doesn’t leave us alone. That thought and prompting, pushing us into His Arms. Christ speaks over us all the time and He has for all of our years. He knows who we are and who He created us to be. He knows what gifts, talents and abilities that He has bestowed upon us. And, He knows when we doubt and question what our next step is.
We make things out to be more difficult than they need to be. We need to just step out in faith and believe Christ at His Word. His Word has already gone forth and it will accomplish what He intended and it will prosper where He sent it.
