The Lord will fight for you while you [only need to] keep silent and remain calm.”

Exodus 14:14

What is your first reaction to an injustice done to you? Someone has wronged you and “it’s not their problem,” it’s yours. Anger is the typical response… who is ever going to be okay with something like this?

We should stand out from the world and not look like it. If we react like the world would what kind of testimony are we giving? How is our reaction showing Jesus’ Love to a world that so desperately needs to see Him? It does not mean that we are meant to be a doormat for others to walk all over. Nor does it mean we should allow ourselves to be taken advantage of. However it does mean that Jesus expects more from us.

It is time that we grow to come to Jesus first in every circumstance and situation. Call upon Him and allow His Spirit to calm you and give you the proper words to speak. If you have already lashed out, do the proper thing and apologize.

Don’t leave things in a bad way, give the situation over to Jesus and let Him take it from there. He will fight for you, you just need to remain in Him.
