For this finds favor, if a person endures the sorrow of suffering unjustly because of an awareness of [the will of] God. After all, what kind of credit is there if, when you do wrong and are punished for it, you endure it patiently? But if when you do what is right and patiently bear [undeserved] suffering, this finds favor with God.

1 Peter 2:19-20

The enemy is prowling about, he will pounce at any given moment whether we’re expecting it or not. He doesn’t care who we are, only that he can get us side tracked and preoccupied. He is the ruler of this current earth and his aim is to cause discord, strife and other troubles. The enemy wants to mess with you, your family, your finances and your faith, because these can affect your daily walk with Christ.

We must endure. We must keep pressing toward the light and not allow the darkness to close in on us. Grab a hold of Christ’s outstretched hand and keep stepping forward. We cannot give in to the darkness, but must draw upon the Holy Spirit and let Christ’s light illuminate the steps in front of us.

The time is drawing near for this sorrow and suffering to end… and the enemy knows. He will bombard us with much if we allow it. We need to see with God’s eyes and understand why this attack is coming at us. We must endure, pushing past this current time, because our reward is close at hand at the end of this road.

When we do what is right and patiently bear through this, we will find much favor with Christ, and our reward will be worth it all.
