Trust [confidently] in the Lord forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].

Isaiah 26:4

When everything seems in turmoil around you, trust in God. When you obey Him and step out into what He has called you, things may not go as smoothly as you would expect. This does not mean that you have stepped incorrectly. Sometimes the enemy catches a glimpse of what God has created you for. Your purpose, and who you are becoming scares him. He will stop at nothing in order to get you to doubt, question and get side tracked. Know and understand this, and continue to trust confidently in Christ.

Don’t stop your forward momentum, but stay the course. There’s a whole lot of shaking that needs to go on in this world and in The Church. The wheat must get separated from the chaff and you must get pruned so that more fruit can grow. The harvest is plentiful, but God needs laborers out in the fields who will be teachable, will listen and will learn.

God is your Rock, your shield and your fortress, step with Him and trust confidently as you walk this out together.
