Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

Christ knows that you are wondering how much longer. He knows you feel as though you can’t take any more. Take a deep breath child of God, you were created to endure. Don’t attempt to fix your current circumstances by thinking your way through them… stand firm. Stand on the Word of God and dive deeper with Christ. He is building a strong foundation that will weather any storm and situation. We may not be able to see down the road where Christ is leading us, we are to obey and just keep walking with Him. The enemy knows. This is why he is doing everything he can to discourage us now. He can sense what God has in store … what’s coming.
We must not lose heart. This “thing” which you are going through now is only for a moment, it is strengthening you. Come to Christ that you may be refreshed and renewed. The journey is ongoing and there is much good that will ultimately come of this. It is working a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
