“The person who had My commandments and keeps them is the one who [really love Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him [I will make Myself real to him].”

John 14:21

Do you love Me? Jesus asked this of Peter three times after he denied knowing Him. Jesus also gave Peter instructions to “feed My sheep” after he answered, “yes.” The question is asked of us as well and in much the same way. Do you love Him? You see, if you love Him, then He will be in the forefront of our thoughts. We will think on Him and we will be reminded of how to step.

We have been given the Holy Spirit, so there shouldn’t be any question in how we should walk. It’s a choice to follow that inner spirit or following ourselves and the ways of this world. Are you too concerned with what the world thinks? Or of getting ridiculed? Is this why we may choose to ignore Him?

It’s time to stop questioning whether you are hearing Jesus or yourself. If we choose our self too often we’ll drown out God’s voice and we’ll be less and less certain. Stop where you are and choose this day who you will follow. Do you love Him? Then obey Jesus in everything and every situation. Walk with Him as you should, and He will be there to love you and reveal Himself to you.
