You can be saved and know nothing about the experience known as the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues and still be led by the Holy Spirit. He lives in every believer and will fellowship and communicate with everyone who is saved. You don’t need the Baptism of the Holy Ghost to communicate with Him. You do need the Baptism to operate in the His supernatural power, but you don’t need it to hear the Holy Spirit speak to you. The primary way He does that is by giving you an inner witness or what you might describes as a “gut feeling”.
