Science and marketing have spent billions and billions of dollars to develop the physical body of man, and billions more developing the intellectual and emotional processes, but very little has ever been written or taught about building the most important part of who we truly are…a human spirit. It is important that we invest in developing a strong human spirit.
Developing a strong human spirit requires continual communion with the Holy Spirit. Even though the Holy Spirit, God Himself, is as close to you as your breath you cannot take advantage of His strength or power until you make Jesus the Lord of your life. Once you are saved, the Holy Spirit recreates your spirit-man, giving you full access to the creator of the entire universe.
Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. – 2 Corinthians 5:17
From the moment of your salvation, your spirit-man can communicate with God directly. Prior to salvation, if you are going to hear anything from God, you will hear it through the mouth of another person…one who is saved.
