It’s Passover, the Jewish holiday of freedom, commemorating the Israelites’ exodus from slavery in Egypt. Each spring, Jewish people from around the world recount Passover’s remarkable story of redemption. The Passover story is relevant to Christians, as well, because Jesus Christ is the Passover lamb. He is the only sacrifice worthy to withhold the wrath of the Father against sin. I encourage you to remember that today. When the Father sees the blood of His Son on your life, His judgment will pass over you. You are not bound; you are free.
